anniversary love: a couple better together

I have said before how much I adore anniversary shoots. Whether its after your first year of marriage or tenth year of marriage, they are a truly amazing way to capture a couple's love for one another.

This adorable couple, Jeff and Suzanne, did just that celebrating their twelfth year of marriage. With the theme 'Better Together' the couple incorporated lovely details from their lives. Suzanne created a super cute paper goods package. One of their paper goods read 'Suzanne and Jeff, Est. March 10 2000).

They carried the importance of their twelve years through their details... 12 vintage buttons on Suzanne's bouquet (buttons were part of her Grandmother's collection), a handmade linen garland (linen is the 12th anniversary gift) and twelve flags for each year the couple have been married.

Jeff and Suzanne enjoyed lunch together at the sweetest table setting. With individual tables and chairs each table was decorated with a vintage photo frame place mat, white crockery and linen wrapped cutlery. Also on his table was white chocolate pears like they had at their wedding, and on her table was a wine glass filled with beautiful flowers to match her bouquet. The crockery and cutlery was from their personal collection.

They enjoyed a his and her cake as well as another wedding cake. They also had a dozen doughnuts for a dozen years as husband and wife. How cute!

The cuteness doesn't stop there... Jeff wore a bow tie from their wedding day and Suzanne wore something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue. She also wore 'I did' on the bottom of her shoes!

I just love this shoot. It is just so beautiful.
