We have featured a few of the amazing baby showers (bow ties, camping and owls) thrown but this very talented group of friends and these lovely ladies just keep getting better.
This space invaders themed baby shower was thrown for and by Carissa of JL Designs and by some of her closest friends including Jesi of Jesi Haack Design, Melody of Sweet and Saucy Shop, Carlie of Gabriel Ryan Photography, Adrienne of Cherish Paperie and Leila of Be Inspired PR.
Carissa created a beautiful and fun mix of flowers. She styled a mix of dahlias, ranunculas and tulips in little white ceramic robots complete with 'antennae' yellow billy balls. Adrienne designed a cute invitation package for the shower.
Melody made a yummy dessert bar of space invader treats including a white fondant space invaders cake, robot cake pops, flying saucer sugar cookies, asteroid doughnut holes and sweet cupcakes with robot cake toppers.
A delicious beverage bar was set up for guests where they could choose to sip 'liquid hydrogen', 'anti freeze' or 'rocket fuel'. For something to nibble on, there was a selection of 'micro chips', 'tri-coloured laserbeams' and 'UFO's'. Jesi created the colourful 'Mega Bytes' backdrop.
For guests to take home, they could choose from 4 different coloured tote bags with the cute space invaders logo print as well as custom made space invader soaps in cute white boxes.
Here is the mum-to-be with some of her very talented friends... Leila, Carlie, Jesi and Melody... and her bulldog Bossy.
